Dairy Free Chocolate Ice Cream

A nice creamy frozen dessert that is made from real food, much healthier than the commercial non-dairy ice cream brands that are highly processed and usually loaded with sugar.  You don’t have to feel guilty eating a large bowel of this ice cream.


  • 2 bananas
  • 20 raw almonds
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1-2 tbsp agave nector or honey
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder or carob powder


Blend all ingredients in food processor until smooth.  Spoon mixture into ice cube tray and freeze.   Once frozen, and ready to serve, take the cubes out of the tray and crush slightly with a spoon.  Enjoy!

The dessert provides you with a good balance of protein and fruit without the dairy.
